A busy week in Robin Class!

Image
We  had a fantastic start to our weekly Reader's Morning this week in Robin Class. Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and carers who were able to stay.  The children have also loved exploring our new reading Igloo.  The children have also been learning the 'c, k,ck ' phoneme and have been applying their phonic skills in some superhero writing. The children have investigated the number 6. Challenge your child to represent number 6 in a variety of ways at home.  Look at the fantastic photographs below.  Next week we will investigate the number 6, learn the phonemes 'e' and 'u' and walk to the local shop to buy ingredients to bake bread.

Look at our amazing Chatterboxes!

Over half term the children each decorated a box and filled it with items that are special to them. The children took turns to talk about their Chatterboxes and the other children listened carefully. The children were so proud of their homework and were eager to share it with their friends. We were very impressed with the children's speaking and listening skills and enjoyed learning new things about the children.
