A little update.

Image
Hope you are all well and staying safe in your homes. Over the coming weeks, I will be posting ideas on here to support your child's learning at home. By no means is this an exhaustive list but a way to keep the little ones engaged and enjoy their time with you.  I thought it would be useful to share an example of our timetable for the small number of children that are still attending school.  Feel free to use this as a helpful guide to organise your day.  I would recommend the children to try write everyday to keep their phonics skills at their foremind.  For example, a simple sentence about a picture they have drawn, a shopping list, a short letter to a family member - Remember they will write things phonetically e.g. children will write 'trn' for 'turn' as they haven't learnt the 'ur' sound in phonics.  Note:highlighted are the sound we                                                                               have lear

Washing Hands!

In Robins class, we always teach the importance of how to wash our hands properly, why we wash them and when to wash them. The child love our  Wash Hands Song.  Which we play daily before lunch time. This is a fun way to make self care exciting! We ask that the children wash their hands on arrival into school to get rid of nasty little germs! Thank you, Miss Pardoe
