Food tasting!   This week the children tasted a range of foods from around the world as part of the looking at the story Handa's Surprise.  They tasted pomegranate, pineapple, kiwi, mango and passion fruit! As you can see some children  found some of the food very sour. 

 We enjoyed learning traditional Bollywood dancing as part of culture week. Look at our moves! 

 Culture Week On Monday Reception created thier own passports. They arrived at the aiport and went through passport control, before boarding the plane to 'visit' our first country we are learning about.... India . The children have created thier own Indian artwork and tried some tradtional Idian food.

  Mini Beasts This week the children found a slug outside. This sparked lots of curiosity about where slugs live. The children created a shelter for the slug using a box, leaves, grass and soil. Sunflowers This weeks book of the week was 'seed to sunflower'. Reception have enjoyed learning about how sunflowers grow and the different parts of a sunflower.
