 Tadpoles  This afternoon Alfred's Dad came in to show the children the tadpoles from their pond.  This week the children have been learning about the life cycle of a frog. They really enjoyed observing the tadpoles and watch them swim in the water.   

  This week in Reception, the children have been reading the story Jack and the Beanstalk.  The children have loved this story and have been very engaged. The children have had the opportunity to plant some beans in their Key Worker groups. We spoke about what our beans needed to grow and how to look after them. Some children have also produced some beautiful independent writing about the story,  in child initiated learning time.
