 We have also been celebrating halloween this week and enjoyed spooky day!  The children have loved exploring all things halloween from pumpkins to making potions in a witches cauldron. This week our book of the week has been Room on the Broom.

 We have had a fantastic week learning and celebrating different cultures in Robins Class. We participated in Bollywood dancing, tried Indian food, made mehndi and rangoli patterns.  Special thanks to Diyan who was extremely confident about his upcoming Diwali celebrations! 

  This week the children have enjoyed exploring mixing colours.  The children predicted what colour they would make and rubbed the paint together using their hands and with a paint brush. 🖌

Last week, we have been working hard on our mark making skills. From name writing, writing graphemes to making large marks on paper we are building our strength in our little fingers. Look at our brilliant learning!  This week, our phonemes are ck, e, u and r.  Our book of the week is Owl Babies. Have you read this before?
