Image
Let it Snow! Reception showed lots of awe, wonder and curiosity when playing in the snow this morning. The children explored making a snowman, the effects powder paint and melting ice.  Also, they loved having a mini snowball fight, a winter walk around school and a ply on the field.

Ledston Estate  Robins 1 visited Ledston Estate on their first School trip of the year! The children loved getting on the big coach and enjoyed talking about all the different things they could see, on our journey.  Willow used the map to let her class know when we were coming up to traffic lights and how long we had left of our journey.  Once, we arrived the children showed lots of curiosity as they learnt about different types of trees, pine cones and  animals who live in the woods. Next, it was lunch time and the children have a special visitor. Dill the dog! Once, the children had finished their lunch we went on a bog woodland walk. The children explored the woods look for different Autumn objects.  They had to work as a team to find something: Bumpy, yellow, green, black, brown, smooth and shiny.  At the end of the woodland walk the children created their own pebble people!
