Our story of the week has been Mr Wolf’s Pancakes. We have had a fabulous week and the children have been engrossed by this story. As a result we have created shopping lists, recipes, pancake designs to help us create our very own yesterday.  We measured out our ingredients according to the recipe and then got to taste test with different toppings! I think the chocolate sauce was a clear winner.  Next week, we are moving onto Handa’s Surprise a lovely story based in an African village. Also, a reminder that it is World Book Day on Thursday! We cannot wait to see your outfit creations. We have planned a fun day around our story of the week and will be taste testing the different fruit, creating animal art and so on. 

We had a brilliant time at Clayton Woods on Monday afternoon.  The children loved exploring the woods, foraging objects, bark rubbing and creating habitats - some however did not last due to the blustery wind...  A big thank you to all the parents that kindly helped us, the children love seeing familar faces.
