Reception Iveson Blog

 Early Years had an exciting delivery on Thursday evening. Outdoor Classrooms delivered our beautiful new stage and water island.  The children loved using the instruments on our new stage and we will be learning how to use the new water island next week in our key worker groups. 😊

  The Reception children have had a fantastic first week at school. ⭐⭐⭐ We have spent lots of time focusing on speaking and listening. This involved lots of circle time sessions in our key worker groups. These sessions have led to the children developing positive relationships with adults and their peers. We have spoke about our families and who lives in our house. The children were able to draw their family and talk about them to their friends.  Well done Reception!

 Miss McGill and Miss Gray have been very excited to welcome the new Reception children this week. The children have attended a transition morning to settle in and have enjoyed every minute. The children played in all areas of provision and loved exploring our outdoor area. We are looking forward to seeing all the Reception children together on Monday. 😊
