During Spooky week the children have explore lots of different activities around the story Room on the Broom.  The children have loved dressing up in their Halloween Costumes today! Have a lovely half-term to all our Iveson Families!!

 We have loved learning our song of the week - Harvest Samba and learning about the celebration of Harvest Festival.  Harvest Samba Thank you for all your kind donations.   Enjoy our performance! We have loved learning about our book of the week 'Simon Sock' and we were able to discuss our favorite part of the story using drawings.  Next week is Spooky Week!

 This weeks Learning Maths: This week the children will be learning about 2D shapes. They will be learning to name and describe basic 2D shapes and trying to find objects in their environment that look like each one.  Help at home: Your child could listen to the 2D shape song or find objects at home that are 2D. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEbRDtCAFdU Phonics: This week the children will be learning the sounds: ck, e, u, r Help at home: Could you child find objects that begin or end with these sounds? Can they write each of these sounds?

Autumn This week the children have enjoyed starting to explore the season Autumn. We took the children on a nature walk around school to collect leaves and sticks.  The children used these natural materials to make their own leaf people.
