 This week the children have loved getting active in our PE lessons and developing their gross and fine motor skills and negotiating space. We also celebrated Chinese New Year and the 'year of the rabbit’. The children loved discussing about Chinese celebrations and got to try a range of Chinese food including noodles! We also enj oyed creating decorations including dragons and lanterns.

  Number Day is on its way!! Number day is taking place on the 3 rd  of February and we will be taking a new twist on number day this year. This year our number day will be linked to shape, space and measure. we will be participating in interactive maths activites all day, exploring everything linked to number and shape!  Thank you to all the parents who came to Readers morning this week!  Also this week, the children have been exploring printing and the season of winter. They have created a lovely art display using different printing methods. 

 This week the children have done really well retuning to school after the Christmas Holidays.  This week the children have enjoyed role playing in the new vests area.  In Maths the children have been finding 3D shapes outside and making links with everyday objects that look like each shape.
