Learning how to find 1 more and 1 less

Yesterday we were finding one more than a given number. We were so clever that today, the teachers challenged us to find one less. Some children used a number line.

Darween used a number line to jump back one space

 Dexter found his own way to record his findings, we were very impressed!

 

Violet, Aoife and Aadi used number sentences and could read them to the class!
