Easter Homework
Here is a reminder about the homework over the Easter Break:
Similar to previous projects (instruments and chatterboxes) we would love for the children to create an insect using junk materials. We had a discussion about what we could make and the children had all sorts of wonderful ideas! After, invite your child to write about what they had made this could be a word e.g. ant or a simple sentence dependent on your child’s confidence in their writing e.g. I made an ant. I used egg boxes. We can’t wait to see what you create!
Also, the children have either received a problem solving booklet or an Easter maths booklet to complete. By no means is this compulsory as it is just a fun way for them to apply their knowledge.
Some children also received a letter formation booklet to practice their handwriting. There is no need to practice every letter, just choose a few that you believe your child struggles with e.g. b, d, e, f. Again this is not homework, just a way for your child to practice and become more confident forming letters.
Have a restful and fun break,
Miss Pardoe and Miss Olivier
