Phonics Games - Monday

 For your Phonics task today, I would like you to choose one of the activities below and have a go at them at home. 😀

Using a paint brush and some water, can you go outside in your garden and paint some tricky words onto the floor or walls?

Can you write the, into, no, go, to, and, he, she?


Can you get some post-it notes or paper and build some words with your grown-up?
Can you spot the digraphs in the words?
Can you add sound buttons to the words?


Can you use lego or duplo to build a tricky word tower?
How many tricky words can you read?


Can you play the phonics stairs game?
Can you write some words or sounds on paper and place them on the stairs?
Can you walk up the stairs and read each one?
How many words are on the stairs?

Music - Follow the Rhythm

  This week, Reception had the experience of learning to play boom whackers with Music teacher Chris. Chris asked the children to begin by following rhythms by clapping. Chris then gave the children a boom whacker instrument. The children copied the rhythms and sang familiar songs.  ♫♬🎜🎝

 EYFS Teddy Bears Picnic   Reception had a lovely afternoon at their teddy bear's picnic. The children made their own sandwiches in the morning and brought their teddy along to enjoy the sandwiches, smoothies and snacks.
