Optician Visit - Science Capital

 This week, Reception were very lucky, as an Optician came to visit us. 

The Optician spoke to the children about her job and how she helps others. 

The children learnt about different parts of the eye, why people need glasses and how an eye test is conducted. 

The children were able to explore resources for an eye test and tried on different coloured lenses. 

The children were so engaged and loved speaking to an Optician - who is also one of our amazing parents!
