Understanding the World - Growing Beanstalks

 This week in Reception, the children have been learning all about beanstalks. 

The children had the opportunity to plant their own bean and we have been waiting for them to grow. 

As a class we spoke about what plants need to grow. 

J.D "The beanstalks need to be in the sunlight to grow."

S.M "We need to water them everyday, but not too much."

F.L "They need soil and space to grow as well."
