    Every Friday, Miss Pardoe and Miss McGill will be inviting a parent from each class to read a story to the Reception children. This week, the children from both classes we very lucky to have a visit from two parents. If you would like to take part in the 'Secret Reader', please speak to Miss Pardoe or Miss McGill. 📚📚📚

This week our story of the week has been ‘it starts with a seed’. This is a lovely story about the life cycle of a tree. We have learnt the different parts of a tree including trunk, roots, branch and leaves. The children enjoyed a tree hunt and explored their different leaves. The children also wrote descriptions about trees and thought their own sentences!  Next week, we are learning about Minibeasts and their habitats! 

 Our beanstalks have been growing brilliantly! We have been observing and watching them closely by keeping track of any changes using our bean diaries. Each week we have wrote a short sentence to describe the changes of our growing beanstalks. Look at our amazing writing!  We have also learnt some parts of a plant including stem, leaves, shoot and petals.
