Literacy - The Little Red Hen

 Last week, our book of the week was a traditional tale ‘The Little Red Hen’. In the story we learned how corn is harvested into flour and used to create bread. 

With our new knowledge, we baked our own bread rolls with the help of Miss Pardoe! We weighed, measured and used the correct ingredients and got to work using our muscles to knead the dough. 

They tasted delicious! 

We also completed some Little Red Hen printing and writing.
